Bart Cannon holds himself accountable to the highest standards. He believes that doing a good job for his clients isn’t good enough. He works hard to be exceptional on their behalf. It’s how he establishes and maintains expectations throughout a case. Bart develops a rapport with clients, building relationships on the common ground ideals of work ethic and the desire for a favorable outcome.
Before attending law school and later joining Huie as an associate in 2009, Bart worked for the firm in various capacities, including trial technology. Today, he concentrates his practice in the areas of transportation, construction, product liability, professional liability, class actions, insurance defense and appellate issues. He represents a broad range of companies, including trucking companies, building materials suppliers, heavy equipment distributors, commercial and residential contractors and subcontractors, product manufacturers and component suppliers, law firms, retailers and insurance companies. Bart enjoys using his collaborative approach to tap into the collective knowledge of the firm, conferring with senior partners to ensure he’s giving the best solutions to his clients. He finds it rewarding to speak on behalf of his clients, to give them a voice and make sure they are understood.
Bart spends most of his free time with his wife, Jessica, and their two young daughters, Maggie and Abigail. He volunteers during the summers as a youth counselor at Southeastern Youth Camp in Cook Springs, Alabama.
Bart earned his BA from The University of Georgia and his JD from Mississippi College School of Law.
