Will Thompson learned the importance of servant leadership and a strong work ethic from his parents: a law enforcement officer and an emergency room nurse. As an attorney, he is now able to apply those lessons and provide excellent service to his clients.
A former Huie clerk, Will now concentrates his law practice in the areas of real estate, civil rights litigation, workers’ compensation and employment litigation. While in law school, Will was a member of the American Journal of Trial Advocacy, where he won the Vulcan Materials Award for Outstanding Candidates Paper for his case comment on the role of trial courts under Daubert and its progeny. In addition, Will served as a Judge Abraham Caruthers Teaching Fellow, was a member of the Judge James Edwin Horton Inn of Court and won the Parham H. Williams Freshman Trial Competition.
Outside of work, Will enjoys golf, snow skiing, cooking and spending time with family. Will is a member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Homewood.
Will earned his B.S. in Political Science from Troy University and his J.D. from the Cumberland School of Law at Samford University.
