Three Huie Attorneys Named to B-Metro’s 2024 Top Women Attorneys List

Huie attorneys Jennifer Reid Egbe, Jennifer “JD” Devereaux Segers, and Elizabeth Davis McCoy were selected as B-Metro 2024 Top Women Attorneys. The annual listing features the top women attorneys in the Birmingham metro area.

Jennifer Egbe joined Huie in 2007 and initially specialized in the areas of automotive product liability, personal injury, medical malpractice, employment discrimination defense and general insurance defense. Her practice has since expanded to include environmental litigation, consumer litigation, civil rights litigation, municipal litigation, heavy equipment product liability, business litigation and medical device litigation defense. Jennifer has served on trial teams that have multiple defense verdicts and summary judgment phase dismissals.

JD began her career as a clerk at Huie before joining the firm in 1995. Since then, JD has built a successful practice focusing on medical malpractice, dental malpractice, insurance litigation, long term care and nursing home liability, pharmaceutical liability, professional liability and professional license defense. She also frequently lectures on medical malpractice and related topics for private insurance firms.

Elizabeth began her career at Huie as a summer clerk and now concentrates her law practice in the areas of automotive liability, product liability and discovery practice and procedure. She currently serves as national coordinating discovery counsel for a major automotive client.
