Jimmy Brady and Tom Bazemore Secure Allstate Defense Verdict

The Huie, Fernambucq & Stewart defense team of Jimmy Brady and Tom Bazemore secured a Allstate defense verdict in favor of the insurance company after a three day jury trial in the Circuit Court of Jefferson County, Alabama.

The lawsuit arose from an October 25, 2011, fire which occurred at an investment property owned by the plaintiff. Allstate concluded that the loss was a result of vandalism; and therefore the plaintiff’s policy did not provide coverage for the loss. The plaintiff disagreed and argued that the cause of the fire was undetermined. The Jefferson County jury returned a verdict for Allstate. The case was tried by Circuit Judge Elizabeth French.
