Huie attorney Brent Almond was successful in his trial defense of a restaurant franchisee in Montgomery, Alabama, on August 16, 2018. In the case, the Plaintiff claimed the restaurant served food contaminated with a foreign object causing injury to his mouth. Plaintiff filed suit against the restaurant alleging negligence, wantonness and negligent, reckless and wanton supervision and training. Central to the successful defense was the absence of any medical testimony or evidence corroborating Plaintiff’s version of events. After considering the testimony and evidence, the trial court ruled in favor of the Defendant.
