Huie Announces New Partner in 2019

We are pleased to announce that Brent Almond has been named a partner in the firm. “Brent joined Huie as a summer associate while in law school and throughout his many years of dedicated service has made significant contributions to the firm,” said John Herndon, Office Managing Partner. “Being asked to join our distinguished partnership is a great reflection of his commitment to serving our clients and the hard work he puts into every case.”

Brent defends clients in the areas of medical malpractice, insurance coverage litigation and bad faith, heavy equipment litigation and workers’ compensation.  Among other clients, Brent represents hospitals, physicians, heavy equipment companies and suppliers, and insurance companies. Brent routinely contributes articles to trade publications and is currently a member of the Alabama State Bar, Alabama Defense Lawyers Association, Defense Research Institute and Claims and Litigation Management Alliance. Prior to joining Huie, Brent was an active member of the U.S. Marine Corps. He also earned a Bachelor of Arts from The University of Georgia and is a graduate of Cumberland School of Law at Samford University.
