Jennifer Egbe Appointed to Alabama Board of Court Reporting

We are pleased to announce that Jennifer Egbe, a partner at Huie, was recently appointed to the Alabama Board of Court Reporting by Will Ainsworth, Alabama’s current Lieutenant Governor.

The mission of the Alabama Board of Court Reporting is to serve the State by establishing and maintaining a standard of competency for individuals engaged in the practice of court reporting and for the protection of the public, in general, and for the litigants whose rights to personal freedom and property are affected by the competency of court reporters (Section 34-8B-1).

In 2019, Jennifer was also appointed by the Mayor of Birmingham to serve as a Commissioner for Red Mountain Park, which is owned and administered by the Red Mountain Greenway and Recreational Area Commission.
