Morgan Turner Named 2024 “NextGen BHM: Law” Honoree by the Birmingham Business Journal

We are pleased to announce that Huie associate Morgan Turner has been named by the Birmingham Business Journal as a 2024 honoree on its “NextGen Law” list, an award recognizing lawyers under 40 years old who are paving the future of the legal profession in Birmingham.

The BBJ “NextGen Law” honorees were selected based on their contributions to the firm, tangible results in their practice areas, and involvement in the community, among other factors.

Morgan’s excellent client service coupled with her contributions to the community and leadership at Huie demonstrate why she is a rising star in the legal field. Morgan’s diverse practice focuses on automotive litigation, product liability, and general insurance defense. She always welcomes a challenge, and her ability to relate to others makes her an essential team member in and out of the courtroom. She is a seasoned client advocate who values the opportunity to defend some of the world’s most prestigious companies.

For excellence in her field and as voted upon by her peers, Morgan was recognized in 2024 by The Best Lawyers in America: Ones to Watch for Insurance Law. Morgan’s servant leadership is visible through her involvement as a 5k race director that raises awareness for mental health. Outside of the courtroom, Morgan is active in Huie law school recruiting efforts and serves as an associate mentor to summer program clerks. She is also a member of the Alabama Defense Lawyers Association.
