Tom Bazemore Recognized by BBJ – 2023 Best of the Bar

Huie partner Tom Bazemore is among the outstanding legal talent featured in the Birmingham Business Journal’s (BBJ) “Best of the Bar” for 2023.

The BBJ Best of the Bar Awards highlight star performers across the Magic City’s legal scene across a range of practice areas. The recipients help shape their firms, the Birmingham economy and, in many cases, businesses around the nation. Honorees were selected based on their tangible accomplishments, their contributions to the industry and their status in their practice area. This year’s honorees were selected based on their status within their practice group, their tangible accomplishments, their impact on their firms and their impact on Birmingham and its legal community, among other factors.

Since joining the firm in 1996, Tom has successfully defended clients in various trial venues at both the State and Federal Courts and in both rural and urban court systems. He has tried 38 cases to verdict. Tom is motivated by the unpredictability and problem-solving opportunities that come with practicing law. In addition to successfully trying cases throughout the United States, Tom is frequently called upon by clients and industry experts to present and publish articles in the areas of trial skills, product liability and automotive litigation.
