Southerland & Jett Obtain Verdict for Birmingham Business Owner

After a five day jury trial, Huie, Fernambucq & Stewart attorneys John Isaac Southerland and Chip Jett obtained a verdict of $104,939.87 on behalf of local small business owner Steven Weil and two small businesses, Mid-South Towing Equipment and Weil Wrecker Service in a business dispute against two former principals of Mid-South Towing Equipment.

John Isaac and Chip successfully represented Mr. Weil individually and as a fiduciary of Mid-South Towing Equipment and Weil Wrecker Service by proving breach of contract, conversion and breach of fiduciary duty by the defendants. The case was tried in the Circuit Court of Jefferson County, Alabama.
