Positive Maturity Names Jim Shaw “Top 50 Over 50” 2024 Honoree

Huie partner Jim Shaw has been named by Positive Maturity as a 2024 honoree on its “Top 50 Over 50” list.

The Top 50 Over 50 List recognizes individuals 50 and older for their successes and lifetime achievements in their businesses, personal lives, and civic engagement. Honorees were chosen based on nominations received at top50over50.com and selected based on their active participation in the Birmingham community and ability to make a positive impact in the world.

Jim Shaw has always been a lifelong student of the law and, in addition to his active litigation practice, he now has the privilege to pass along his mentorship to the next generation of attorneys. With over 50 years of legal experience spanning multiple practice areas, Jim enjoys teaching law and ethics to those in the early years of their careers. Outside of work, Jim has served in advisory roles for the Alabama Council of Boy Scouts of America, a local SIDS organization, the Greater Birmingham Humane Society, the WBHM listeners society, and the Methodist Board of Ordained Ministries.
