To qualify as a Super Lawyer or Rising Star, nominees must undergo a multiphase selection process, which includes independent research, peer nominations, and peer evaluations.
The Super Lawyers research team also chooses the top 2.5% of Alabama lawyers to be selected for their Rising Stars list. To be eligible for this recognition, candidates must either be 40 years old or younger or have less than 10 years of practice experience.
